Job Description

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Analytics & Strategy team. This role will focus on gathering business requirements, analyzing data, and developing reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making. The analyst will work closely with business leaders, store operations teams, and executives to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. This position requires the ability to work with large datasets, identify opportunities for process improvements, and ensure data accuracy and integrity. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be highly adaptable to evolving business needs, and bring a problem-solving mindset to drive operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for reporting and analytics needs.

Develop SQL queries to support business reporting and improve operational visibility.

Perform data analysis to identify trends, provide insights, and support key business decisions.

Ensure accuracy and integrity in reporting by validating and testing data sources.

Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization in reporting workflows.

Work closely with IT and business teams to improve analytics frameworks and streamline data processes.

Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders, ensuring insights drive meaningful business improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a related role.

Strong experience in business analysis, reporting, and process improvement.

Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and automation.

Familiarity with BI tools such as MicroStrategy or Tableau.

Ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience in retail, supply chain, or predictive modeling is a plus.
