Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development
- Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
- Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization
- Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent
- You will lead a dedicated team, collaborating closely with HR, IT, Payroll, and business leaders to ensure our core HR technology platform is fully integrated into our overarching HR strategy and operational excellence. Your hands-on technical expertise will be crucial in implementing, optimizing, and evolving our comprehensive HR technology ecosystem.
- Data Management Excellence: Profoundly understand and analyze data within various HR systems (including UKG Pro, Cornerstone, and iCIMS), anticipating and addressing downstream impacts.
- Maintain meticulous employee data within the HRIS, executing mass data uploads and conducting regular reviews to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
- Proactively monitor data quality, swiftly resolving any discrepancies.
- Strategic System Administration: Expertly configure and customize the HRIS to seamlessly align with organizational HR policies and procedures.
- Manage user access levels and implement robust security protocols.
- Spearhead Request for Proposals (RFPs) and lead implementation processes for new HRIS solutions, ensuring alignment with critical business needs, budgetary constraints, and regulatory compliance.
- Seamless Payroll Integration: Ensure flawless integration between the HRIS and payroll system, guaranteeing accurate transfer of employee data and benefit deductions.
- Rigorously monitor payroll data for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide essential support for payroll processing (including imports/mass uploads and break-fix solutions) and Business Intelligence (BI) reporting.
- Efficiently address all payroll-related inquiries and issues.
- Impactful Reporting & Analysis: Manage and maintain all core application reports, encompassing custom, scheduled, ad-hoc, and critical compliance reporting.
- Gather comprehensive reporting requirements, meticulously document functional and technical designs, and provide best practice recommendations.
- Fulfill all data requests from the executive team, including headcount reports, key metrics, and federal reporting (e.g., BLS, EEO, Affirmative Action).
- Analyze data to identify key trends and provide actionable insights for strategic HR decisions.
- Empowering User Support: Deliver comprehensive training and ongoing support to HR staff and employees, fostering effective HRIS utilization.
- Efficiently address user queries, troubleshoot system issues, and provide expert technical assistance.
- Determine business requirements and implement intuitive manager dashboards based on evolving needs and priorities.
- Robust Compliance & Audit: Manage the data integrity of HR systems through regular audits and proactive data quality exception reporting.
- Ensure unwavering compliance with all relevant data privacy and labor laws concerning employee information within the HRIS.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources or management
- 7+ years' of professional HR experience, ideally from a services oriented business, with a combination of corporate and business unit line experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Technical Acumen: Proven expertise in HRIS platforms, database systems, and/or various HR-related technologies (experience with UKG is highly desirable).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Cognos BI Reporting (SQL experience is a strong asset).
- HR Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of core HR transaction processes, including organizational management, benefits, new hire onboarding, separation, leave management, workers' compensation, time and attendance, and comprehensive compliance (federal, state, and local laws and regulations).
- Demonstrated understanding of intricate HR processes and best practices, with hands-on experience in creating thorough HR process mapping across the complete employee lifecycle.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong HR acumen and technical aptitude, coupled with proven experience in measurement, data analysis, ensuring data accuracy, and insightful interpretation.
- Highly capable in delivering and presenting complex technical information in a clear, consumable format to effectively drive critical decisions.
- Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills.
