Job Description

A Japanese optical film company is looking for an entry-level Japanese bilingual Sales Engineer.

Sales Engineer will work closely with both the sales and technical teams to provide comprehensive solutions for our customers, aligning the product offerings with client needs. This role combines technical expertise with strong sales capabilities, aiming to build lasting relationships with clients while achieving company revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support & Strategy:

-Work alongside the sales team to identify potential customers and markets for our products and services.

-Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients.

-Assisted in crafting proposals and quotations that aligned with client requirements and budgets.

-Provide technical insights and support during the sales process, answering client questions regarding product features, functionalities, and integration.

Client Relationship Management:

-Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

-Understand client needs and translate them into tailored product solutions.

-Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sales process, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.

Technical Expertise:

-Serve as the technical point of contact for the sales team and the customer, addressing any technical concerns or challenges.

-Stay updated on product developments and advancements to ensure the company’s offerings meet or exceed industry standards.

-Collaborate with engineering or product development teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Training & Product Knowledge

-Assist clients with technical specifications and provide guidance on product selection.

-Participate in trade shows, seminars, and other events to demonstrate product capabilities and generate leads.

Sales Reporting & Forecasting:

-Track sales activities, customer feedback, and performance metrics.

-Provide accurate sales forecasts to management, assisting with strategic planning.

-Continuously monitor competitor activity and market trends to remain competitive.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

-1-2 years of experience preferred

-Business-level English and Japanese language skills are a must (Write, Read, Speak)
