Job Description

LHH is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Paralegal for a well-established law firm in Greensboro, NC. This is a fantastic opportunity for a litigation-focused paralegal to contribute to a high-performing team handling complex business disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys in all phases of business litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal.
  • Draft, proofread, and manage legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and trial preparation materials.
  • Manage case files, including document organization, filing, and retrieval in electronic databases.
  • Conduct factual and legal research to assist with case strategy and preparation.
  • Assist with e-discovery processes, including document review and production.
  • Coordinate scheduling of depositions, hearings, and court deadlines.
  • Prepare exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders for hearings and trials.
  • Communicate with clients, experts, and court personnel professionally and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in business or commercial litigation.
  • Strong understanding of federal and North Carolina civil procedure.
  • Proficiency in litigation support tools and legal research platforms (e.g., Relativity, Westlaw, LexisNexis).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Paralegal certificate or degree preferred.
