Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Production Supervisor opening! This temp to hire opportunity is available on 2nd shift - 4p-2a, Mon-Fri. Pay is $36.00-40.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the shift by focusing on safety, product and food safety, schedule attainment, sanitation and housekeeping
• Set expectations with supervisors and hold supervisors accountable for results
• Work with the Plant Manager and 2nd Shift Manager to assure employees are treated fairly and that discipline is carried out consistently across the shift and department
• Observe employees performing their assigned work for compliance to safety procedures, GMPs, work instructions, and plant rules and regulations; address non-conformances needed
• Observe product quality and product safety - take corrective action as needed.
• Review monthly consumer complaint summaries and trends with supervisors and employees; determine corrective actions to reduce complaints and review daily holds for root cause and corrective action
• Assure new employees receive training regarding food quality and safety as well as personal safety
• Track supervisor performance provide periodic feedback
• Attend daily hand off meetings and other planning meetings as required

Candidates for this role must have 2-4 years' production management experience. Experience in a GMP controlled setting is needed. Knowledge of HAACP and food safety protocols is strongly preferred.
