We are seeking a skilled and energetic Full Cycle Recruiter to support hiring efforts within the transportation industry . Based in South San Francisco , this contract-to-hire role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and brings 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience . You'll oversee the end-to-end recruitment process-from sourcing to onboarding-and must be confident making quick, informed hiring decisions. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the full recruitment life cycle , including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and hiring strategies
Use a variety of sourcing methods (job boards, referrals, outreach) to attract talent
Schedule and coordinate interviews and follow-ups with speed and accuracy
Prepare and present offers, conduct background checks, and manage onboarding documentation
Keep applicant tracking systems (ATS) and records updated and compliant
Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs
Deliver a positive candidate experience while maintaining urgency and professionalism
Adapt quickly to evolving staffing needs within the transportation operations environment
5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
Experience recruiting within operations, logistics, or transportation a strong plus
Comfortable managing multiple requisitions and shifting priorities
Proficient with applicant tracking systems and onboarding tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization
Able to make quick, confident hiring decisions under pressure
Detail-oriented, organized, and responsive
Experience handling onboarding from offer through first day, ensuring a seamless transition
