🚨 We’re Hiring: Workers’ Compensation Case Manager / Hearing Advocate

📍 Farmington, CT | Full-Time | Hybrid Travel to Hearings Required

The Law Offices of James F. Aspell, P.C. is busier than ever — and we’re looking for a skilled, confident, can-do professional to help lead our workers’ compensation practice.

If you’ve got at least 3 years of Connecticut workers’ comp experience and are ready to step into a leadership role, this could be your shot.

🦁 This job is for a lion tamer. Someone who can:

✔ Supervise and support two junior paralegals

✔ Assign new files fairly and efficiently

✔ Personally manage 5–10 high-maintenance clients

✔ Handle hearings throughout CT and advocate fiercely

✔ Field questions, fix problems, and keep things moving

💡 You’ll report directly to the managing attorney (that’s me) and play a central role in how we serve our clients and grow the practice.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of workers’ comp experience (CT-specific)

• Confident communicator, team builder, calm under pressure

• Strong case management skills (bonus if you know Filevine)

• Someone who likes fixing things — and mentoring others

• A positive attitude and a thick skin
