Legal Intern – North America

New York City | Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote) | ~$20–25/hr

🔑 What You’ll Do

As a Legal Intern, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to the legal workings of a global business. You'll work on real-world legal and compliance issues, support process improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your day-to-day may include:

  • Reviewing, redlining, and organizing commercial contracts, NDAs, and legal templates
  • Conducting legal research on regulatory and compliance topics
  • Supporting documentation and tracking for internal policies, SOPs, and trainings
  • Assisting with internal audits, risk assessments, and due diligence requests
  • Coordinating with departments like HR, Finance, and Commercial to clarify legal or regulatory documentation
  • Maintaining and organizing legal files, filings, and records
  • Contributing to compliance and corporate governance initiatives
  • Participating in special projects with the Legal Director or General Counsel

🙌 Who You Are

  • Enrolled in or recently completed a J.D. program at an accredited law school
  • Interested in in-house corporate law, compliance, and commercial operations
  • Strong research and analytical skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator—clear, concise, and collaborative
  • Organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, international setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); familiarity with Westlaw or LexisNexis is a plus
  • Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
